Odaiba and Shiodome - The island of Odaiba in Tokyo Bay has become one of the city's premier shopping and leisure districts. Connected to the city center by Rainbow Bridge, the area is home to large malls, international hotels, and museums. You'll also find some of the city's most striking examples of modern architecture, the most prominent being the Fuji Television Head Office Building. Located nearby is Tokyo Big Site, one of Japan's largest exhibition centers, which regularly hosts international trade shows. Newly developed Shiodome, with it many skyscrapers, hotels, and restaurants, is just a short hop across the bay.
